We’re making Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) immunisations FREE for WA babies.

This will protect our youngest, most vulnerable West Australians from RSV.

From 1 April 2024 to 30 September 2024, all infants born on or after 1 October 2023 entering their first RSV season will be eligible to receive immunisation. Infants under eight months will be eligible for RSV immunisation at GP practices, Community Health Clinics and Aboriginal Medical Services that provide childhood immunisations.

In an Australian first, we’re providing access to RSV immunisations for WA children. Infants under eight months will be able to access the immunisation for free.
