BIG NEWS: WA families with school kids can now claim the WA Student Assistance Payment!

Every WA family with kids currently enrolled in Kindy to Year 12 will receive direct financial support through this brand-new cost of living program.

Parents will receive direct payments of $150 for each child in Kindy to Year 6, and $250 for each child in Year 7 to 12.

We know that school expenses can be a challenge for families to manage. Whether it’s textbooks, shoes, backpacks or even lunches, the costs of putting kids through school add up. Western Australian families can rely on the Cook Labor Government to support them with the cost of living.

To access the payment, you’ll simply need your child’s WA Student Number and to apply through the ServiceWA app.
